Christopher Chace Crawford was born on 18th July 1985 to Chris and Dana Crawford in Lubbock, Texas in the United States. He has one sibling, a younger sister, Candice Crawford, who is Miss Missouri USA 2008. His father is a dermatologist and his mother is a teacher. Chace moved to Los Angeles to attend Pepperdine University and while there, he began acting as a hobby. In 2006, Chace appeared in Lifetime's television movie Long Lost Son, in which he portrayed the son of Gabrielle Anwar's character. He also starred alongside Steven Strait, Taylor Kitsch, Sebastian Stan and Toby Hemingway in Screen Gems' horror/thriller The Covenant. He is one of the leads in CW's drama Gossip Girl, which premiered in 2007. Chace appears in two movies in 2008, Loaded, starring alongside Jesse Metcalfe and Monica Keena, and the independent movie She Lived with Haley Bennett that is to be released. He has also made a guest appearance on the TV show Family Guy in the episode "The Former Life of Brian". He recently dated country singer Carrie Underwood.
